How much does a move in Valencia cost: real hourly prices
A move in Valencia starts at €100 — that is the minimum for a van with driver (€50/h, two-hour minimum). A studio with few belongings comes to €100–210, a two-bedroom flat usually costs €280–420, and a three-bedroom flat €540–720. There is no secret flat rate: the price is hours × rate, and the hours depend on how much you own, on the lift, and on the distance between the two front doors.

Moving prices in Valencia by home size
The figures below are the hours we genuinely spend on moves inside the city, with a lift in at least one of the two buildings and the boxes already packed.

What is included and what is billed separately
The question we get most on WhatsApp is not the hourly rate — it is what turns up on the bill “later”. Here is the complete answer:

No floor surcharges, no narrow-lift supplement, no “administration fee”. If something is not included, we say so before the first box goes up — not once the job is done.
What your moving price depends on
Five things move the final figure, and nearly all of them are really about time:
- The lift. This is factor number one. A third floor with no lift can add 1–2 hours compared with the same flat and a large lift. If there is a lift but the sofa does not fit in it, count it as no lift.
- Distance to the door. Parking 60 metres from the entrance means walking those 60 metres with every single item. In Ciutat Vella and Russafa this weighs more than in neighbourhoods with wide streets.
- How much you actually own. An empty two-bedroom flat and one with a storage room, a terrace and fifteen years of accumulation are two different jobs.

- Furniture that has to come apart. Large wardrobes, bunk beds and ottoman beds add 30–90 minutes each.
How to work out your budget in 3 steps
- Count the transport hours. Add 30–40 minutes of loading per furnished room, the drive between buildings (20–30 minutes inside Valencia) and the same again for unloading. Round up: nobody has ever finished earlier than they expected.
- Decide how many movers you need. With a sofa, a washing machine or a three-door wardrobe, one person is not enough and the clock runs away. Rule of thumb: up to two bedrooms, one mover; from three, two. If you and a friend are doing the carrying, all you need is a van with driver.

How to spend less without ruining the move
- Throw things out before the move, not after. Paying to transport a wardrobe you will scrap in three months is the most pointless line in any moving budget. If half the flat is surplus, it works out cheaper to combine the move with a house clearance.
- Pack the small stuff yourself. Clothes, books, kitchen and bathroom in closed, labelled boxes before the crew arrives. Nothing else saves as many hours.
- Book a weekday morning. Saturdays and month-ends go first; book with margin and you pick the slot instead of taking what is left.
- Bundle your errands. If the route passes IKEA in Alfafar or two items need dropping at a relative’s place, say so when you ask for the quote: in one trip it costs far less than in two.
- Defrost the fridge and take apart the obvious the night before. Half an hour of your time the evening before is €20–50 less the next day.
Moves outside Valencia and across Spain
Mislata, Paterna and Torrent are covered by the city rate, with no travel surcharge. Sagunto, Gandía and the rest of the Comunitat are arranged by distance, usually on the same day you write to us.
For removals across Spain — Madrid, Barcelona, Alicante, Málaga — we do not apply the hourly transport rate: it is €1.2/km round trip from Valencia, plus loading and unloading at the mover rate. It is the most checkable system we know for long routes, because you can measure the kilometres yourself on any map.

Not every job is a full move. Taking a sofa to your sister’s place, getting a new washing machine upstairs or emptying a storage room falls under mini moves and man-and-van jobs: the same €100 minimum, the same crew, no paperwork. And if what you are short of is hands rather than a van, you can book movers on their own at €20/h.
