The town stretches from Levante beach past the old town by the small Mal Pas beach to Poniente beach, south of the port; to the north lie the Tío Ximo and Almadrava coves. For a seafront apartment, it is worth confirming beforehand where the van can stop.
From central Benidorm, l’Alfàs del Pi is about 8 km away, La Nucía 9 km, Altea 11 km, Villajoyosa, Polop and Finestrat about 12 km and Calpe 25 km. Valencia is about 140 km away, mostly on the AP-7, toll-free since 1 January 2020; Alicante is about 46 km via the A-70 and AP-7.
If loading or unloading for a move affects traffic or parking, the Mobility Ordinance requires council authorisation stating place, date and hours (art. 45.2), and the fee may have to be paid in advance. Apply with form VPMM002 from the Public Roads and Mobility department, with a plan of the temporary signage.

The centre, Levante and Poniente form the ZBE, monitored by cameras. Vehicles with a C, ECO or Zero label enter freely; others need a special authorisation from zbe.benidorm.org. We take this into account when planning van access.
The council collects furniture and household items free of charge by appointment: call 965 855 184 (Mon–Fri, 9:00–21:00) and you will be given a day and time to put them out. Leaving them on the street without an appointment can cost up to €600. The recycling centre is at Partida Foia de Verdader (Consorci MARE, 669 29 85 66).
