Alicante
In Alicante, distinguish the city from the rest of the province and, if you load in the old town, say so from the start. A street photo and the walk to the entrance help assess the vehicle.
MOVING ACROSS SPAIN MOVEVALENCIA
Alicante to Valencia is a short drive, but a move still needs a plan. The weight is in loading, access and unloading: tell us which home you leave and which you arrive at.
Your belongings. Your dates. A plan for your move.
DOOR TO DOOR
It is about 178 km, around 2 hours by car. On a short journey, loading, access and the exact address weigh most.
In Alicante, distinguish the city from the rest of the province and, if you load in the old town, say so from the start. A street photo and the walk to the entrance help assess the vehicle.
In Valencia, check lift hours and the unloading point with the building administration. If the distance allows a single day, we study it against your key date.
NORTH BY MOTORWAY
The quick way climbs through Elda, Villena and La Font de la Figuera to Xàtiva and enters by the V-31. On a short journey, loading rules.
From central Alicante to Valencia city hall it is about 178 km, a little over 2 hours by car, on toll-free motorways. The coastal alternative, the AP-7, has been free since 1 January 2020; which suits depends on whether the origin is Alicante city or a coastal municipality.
For Alicante city, the municipal low-emission-zone FAQ says restrictions are concentrated in the old town. If you load there, say so to review vehicle access; the council’s public-space occupation procedure also covers moves.
In Valencia, the zone does not limit removal vans or lorries but does limit cars without a label; a car registered in Alicante counts as registered outside the province. Register and tell the DGT your new address within 15 days.

DETAILS IN EACH CITY
The address and vehicle determine what needs checking before the move.
Alicante has a public-space occupation procedure covering moves and effects on parking, traffic lanes or public transport. Indicate a possible unloading point so the driver can review the space required before arrival is agreed.

Valencia’s moving procedure covers timing, parking space and a sketch of the occupied area. Share the address and a street photo so the driver can assess where to work and which arrangements apply to the vehicle and equipment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO TAKE
Whole flats move between Alicante and Valencia, but so do pieces for a student or an apartment. Tell us what travels. You can also request furniture transport only, from Alicante to Valencia.
Note what leaves and what stays. If you load in a building with a shared lift, ask in advance for its hours; do the same for the new building in Valencia.
Send my home inventory ↗Bed, desk, sofa and a few boxes: send measurements and photos. Say whether you load in Alicante city or another town in the province.
Preparing furniture for transport ↗KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BOOKING
With fewer kilometres, loading and unloading time carries more weight. Floors, lifts and assembly matter as much as distance.

BEFORE SETTING OFF
We confirm the exact collection address, review the inventory and send the proposal for you to decide.
BEFORE YOU MOVE
At about 178 one-way km, the reference transport cost is around €472 (€2.65/km, VAT included; the return is not charged). Helpers are added at €20/hour per person at each end. The final quote uses your exact addresses and inventory.
It depends on volume, access and vehicle availability. With a short journey it is an option studied in the proposal, but it is not assured without seeing the inventory.
About 178 km by road, around 2 hours by car. On a trip like this loading and unloading can take as long as the driving or more; if volume and access allow, doing it in one day is studied and confirmed in the proposal.
For Alicante city the interior route via the A-31, A-35 and A-7 is usually quicker; for coastal municipalities the AP-7 may suit. Both are toll-free and the quote uses the real kilometres.
With about 2 hours of driving it is feasible for many flats, but it depends on volume and access. It is confirmed in the proposal.
Zone restrictions and narrow streets are concentrated there. Give the address to check vehicle access and whether public-space occupation authorisation is needed.
